Like many other artists who come to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music, playing the Hotel Café has been a goal and dream of mine. On Tuesday June 25th, 2013, it's finally happening.

 Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Kevin Laurence has announced the release of his upcoming EP, “Before I Fall.”

Pre-production on the album begin December 2012 with Laurence and Producer Paul Redel solidifying the track list and arrangements for each of the songs. The five new tracks were recorded at Kingsize Soundlabs, Unison Music, Valley High and The People's Music in Los Angeles, with Laurence on keys and lead vocals, Erik Kertes on bass, Brad Lindsay on guitar and Fernando Sanchez on drums.

"Sonically, you'll hear the ideal representation of my songs; the way I always wanted them to sound, and in a way I've never been heard before", said Laurence

“Before I Fall” is scheduled to be released on July 2nd, 2013.

I am thrilled to announce that I won the "Best Song Award" at last night's West Coast Songwriters Competition in Hollywood, and will be participating in the Finals later next year.
